Offered are a pair of photographs of Jimi Hendrix backstage at his March 21, 1968, concert at The Community War Memorial concert hall in Rochester, New York. The photos were taken by a fan, perhaps one of the three pictured. Also accompanying are six newspaper clippings, including several reviews. Apparently Jimi was less than enthused with the Rochester crowd because one article quotes him as saying "This is the last song, and I'd just like to say this is the draggiest gig on the tour. Thank you anyway." Ouch. The photos capture him at the peak of his 1960's glory and measure 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. The present on KODAK paper, but were probably printed in the early 1970s based on the KODAK imprint on the backs. NEAR MINT condition.
