Offered is an invitation dated January 27, 1975, for a Lynyrd Skynyrd party to promote their upcoming third album Nuthin' Fancy, which would be releasesed a few weeks later. It reads:

LYNYRD SKYNYRD'S favorite pastimes are 1) fishing / 2) fighting / 3) f**king / 4) food. Peter Rudge and Lynyrd Skynyrd invite you to come and indulge in the pastime number four, Friday, January 31 at The Cobra (private club), 874 Broadway 9corner of 18th Street) at 11:00 PM.

The letter is signed by “Jane Rose”, of the band's management firm, C.J. Strauss & Company. The Cobra was an infamous illegal nightclub that was known for its glass cages holding dozens of snakes. The club was shutdown, and for years afterwards tenants would run into snakes all over the building. The sheet measures 8 ½ x 11 inches and presents with heavy staining and original mailing folds, but remains intact. Exellent condition.
