1963 Cecil Stoughton Photograph of John F. Kennedy with John and Caroline Aboard Helicopter Leaving the White House

The offered original photograph emanates from the estate of legendary Kennedy White House photographer Cecil Stoughton. The photo captures President John F. Kennedy with his children John and Caroline aboard a helicopter leaving the White House in August 1963. The reverse of the period photograph is stamped “Cecil W. Stoughton” and “AUG 31 1963”. The Kennedys were on their way to Hyannisport for the Labor Day weekend. They took the helicopter to Otis Air Force Base to board Air Force One for the trip to Massachussettes. The photo measures 8 x 10 inches and presents with only a few very minor distresses on the front and some paper loss on the reverse. Excellent condition.
