Offered is a rarely seen relic celebrating the 1939 National League Champion Cincinnati Reds--a menu from The Wheel Cafe in downtown Cincinnati with a large Reds team photo on the back. The photo sits atop the headline "The Wheel Cafe Congratulates the Cincinnati Reds National League Champions of 1939." It lists the entire team, including Al Simmons, Johnny Van Der Meer and Bucky Walters. Unfortunately, the Reds ran headlong into Joe DiMaggio and the Yankees in the World Series, losing 4-0. The large menu measures 14 1/2 x 8 inches and presents with toning at the edges, but no serious distresses. Excellent to Mint condition.
