Offered is a piece of ephemera that touches not only baseball history but also the 1933-34 Chicago World's Fair. This brochure for the "Safety Glass Manufacturers Association" features Hall of Fame pitcher Left Grove showing how "Even [his] fast ball bounced back from a piece of Safety Glass." The brochure measures fully 18 1/2 inches long when fully unfolded, with images from the World's Fair and of Safety Glass's many uses. There is one fold that is nearly separated and mild toning. Excellent condition.
