The offered index card is signed by San Francisco Giants rookie phenom Nestor Chavez. A late season call-up in 1967, Nestor complied a 1-0 record with 0.00 ERA in two games. Surgery sidelined him the following season and was flying to Arizona from his native Venezuela to begin spring training rehab, Chavez died in one of the worst airplane crashes in history.
