He is best known for leading the 1964 St. Louis Cardinals to the World Championship by defeating the New York Yankees.  Then resigned within days to accept the Yankees job! Johnny Passed away suddenly at the age of 55 in early 1967. Encapsulated by Beckett Authentication.
