This rare World Football League jersey was worn by Mick Heinrich during home games for the Chicago Wind during the 1975 season. This XL home jersey is green mesh with a V-Neck collar and the tail label denotes that it was manufactured by Red Foxx. Heinrich's name is screened onto the back of the jersey in raised black lettering and his number, 71, is displayed on the back of his sleeve. Mick played for the World Football League for the only two years that the league existed, 1974 and 1975.  He spent both seasons with the league's Chicago franchise, which was called The Fire in 1974 and was renamed to the Wind in 1975. Heinrich was a Defensive End during his WFL tenure and played collegiately at the University of Illinois.
