Offered is Stan Musial signed full ticket for the St. Louis Cardinals game on September 29, 1963--the final game of his illustrious career in the Major Leagues. The ticket is framed with a scored copy of the scorecard from the game, which is fittingly only scored through the 6th inning when Musial had an RBI single and was then pulled in favor of a pinch runner. The crowd initally booed the move, but then roared their final goodbye to The Man.

By the time he played the last of his 3,026 games, Musial had been an All-Star in all but his first full season, 1942. He had collected a then-league-record 3,630 hits. Although his 475 home runs seem modest today, when he retired they ranked second in the National League, behind only Mel Ott’s 511. All in all, when he retired as a player Musial held 17 major-league and 29 National League records.

LOA from Beckett Authentic. The framed display measures 16 x 19 inches. Near Mint condition.
