Mid-1950's Mickey Mantle at World Series Original 35 MM Color Negative from Noted Baseball Photographer George Woodruff

The offered 35 MM color negative of Mickey Mantle is from noted baseball photographer George Woodruff. The Kodak slide mount used here was only in use from 1955 to 1959, dating the photo to that period, perhaps the most productive of Mantle's career. That span included his monster 1956 MVP Triple Crown season where he batted .353 with 52 home runs and 130 RBIs. The photo is from one of the four World Series in which the Yankees appeared in those years, as evidenced by the bunting on the stadium walls behind Mick. Near Mint condition.
