Encapsulated Authentic by PSA/DNA. The "Memphis Belle" was one of the first U.S. B-17 Bombers to complete 25 missions in World War II. The airship was named after pilot Robert K. Morgan's sweetheart, Margaret Polk, a resident of Memphis, Tennessee. The plane became iconic when the crew had illustrator George Petty do artwork for the nose. Polk has signed and inscribed the cut "Happy Landings Margaret Polk 'Memphis Belle'".
