Offered are two publicity photos of Elvis Presley taken while visiting with Hollywood producer Hal Wallis in 1956. One photograph is date stamped on the reverse "APR 9 1956," and shows Elvis and Wallis in a screening room. The other is from a well-known group of photos of Elvis playing with a small guitar, taken the same day. Elvis was in Hollywood to firm up his first movie contract with Wallis, though Wallis would actually produce Elvis' second film, Loving You, because Elvis was immediately "loaned" to 20th Century Fox for his first film, Love Me Tender. The photos each measure 8 x 10 inches. The are both Near Mint, but the photo of Elvis with the guitar has later photo archive stickers on the reverse.
