Offered is a copy of The Beatles 1967 album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart Club Band signed boldly by Paul McCartney. Paul's large signature comes right over Dead End Kid Huntz Hall, author H.G. Wells and author C.S Lewis on the legendary album cover. The signed copy of this album is an absolute showpiece. As the story goes, Paul was flying back from Kenya with Beatle's road manager Mal Evans when Mal asked what the "S" and "P" stood for on the little packets on his food tray. Paul told him they stood for "salt" and "pepper" and that led him to the name, "Sgt. Pepper." He called it a bad pun, but it became the seed that led to the idea. Incredible.
This version of the record is a later reissue. The signed album is accompanied by letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA. The album measures 12 x 12 inches, and presents with minor wear. Excellent condition.
