The offered award was created in that period. The album's first single "Killer Queen" reached number 2 in the British charts and provided the band with their first top 20 hit in the US, peaking at number 12 on the Billboard singles chart. Sheer Heart Attack was the first Queen album to hit the US top 20, peaking at number 12 in 1975. The award's plaque reads "Presented to FREDDIE MERCURY to Commemorate the Sale of More Than 500,000 Copies of the ELEKTRA RECORDS Long-Playing Record Album 'SHEER HEART ATTACK'”. The award measures 17 x 21 inches and presents with only minor wear to the gold frame. Near Mint condition.
