Offered is an amazing and historic piece of THE ACTUAL WALL from the legendary Rainbow Music Hall in Denver, Colorado that is signed by 40 rock an roll artists that played the venue during the clubs all too short 11-year run from 1979 to 1989. On Friday, January 26, 1979, Denver concert promoter Barry Fey launched The Rainbow Music Hall, which sat on the corner of Monaco and Evans until 1989 when it was shuttered and converted into a Walgreens. During that nine-year period, the unassuming little concert venue (it held about 1,300 people) hosted hundreds of artists ranging from Chuck Berry to U2, and just about everyone in between. The signatures on the wall, which is now framed and fronted by plexiglass, include:

U2 (Bono, The Edge, Larry Mullin, Jr. and Adam Clayton) (VERY EARLY examples of their signatures - the band played there twice in 1981 and agian in 1982), Chuck Berry, Edgar Winter, John Kay ("& Steppenwolf"), Randy Meisner (The Eagles), Craig Krampf (Randy Meisner band), Kim Wilson, Jimmie Vaughn and Fran Christina (Fabulous Thunderbirds), Cliff Richard, Joe Ely, Ronnie Milsap, Brinsley Schwarz, Martin Belmont, Stephen Goulding (Graham Parker and The Rumor), Dennis Locorriere, Ray Sawyer, John Wolters, Rod Smarr and Jance Garfat (Dr. Hook), Tom Gray, Rick Price and Charles Wolff (The Brains), Sterling Smith (Jandek), and a number of others!

It's a marvelous display piece ready for hanging among an advanced rock and roll collection. It measures 37 x 37 inches. Excellent condition.
