Offered is a "Scotch" brand reel to reel tape with a recording of Elvis Presley's opening night concert on August 10, 1970, at The Las Vegas International Hotel. "Is it hot in here for anybody besides me?" Elvis asks after a half dozen songs, and we're sure it was! This tape captures a classic performance during the second "Summer Festival" at The International Hotel. It's possible the show was recorded on another medium and then transferred to the offered reel to reel, though it is a vintage tape. Elvis can be heard talking about the 50 songs they rehearsed because of the film being made, That's The Way It Is, and even a quick Glen Campbell impression! The sound quality could most-likely be improved by a professional. The songs on the reel include:

  • "Opening Theme"
  • "Thats All Right"
  • "Mystery Train"
  • - segued medley with -
  • "Tiger Man"
  • "I Cant Stop Loving You"
  • "Love Me Tender"
  • "The Next Step Is Love"
  • "Words"
  • "I Just Cant Help Believin"
  • "Something"
  • "Sweet Caroline"
  • "Youve Lost That Loving Feeling"
  • "You Dont Have To Say You Love Me"
  • "Polk Salad Annie"
  • "Band Introductions"
  • "Ive Lost You"
  • "Bridge Over Troubled Water"
  • "Patch It Up"
  • "Cant Help Falling In Love"
  • "Closing Vamp"

The tape presents in playable condition, as evidenced by the sample above. Near Mint condition.
