Offered are two examples of the famous Marilyn Monroe "Golden Dreams" nude calendar, one from 1954 and one from 1955. The photographs of Marilyn Monroe are from her famous 1949 nude calendar session with photographer Tom Kelley, with "Posed by Marilyn Monroe" stamped beside her image on each calendar. The image caused a scandal in 1952 when it was featured on these calendars for the first time. Monroe captured the public's sympathy when she was honest about her reason for having to pose nude earlier in her career: she had to pay the rent. She later quipped that the only thing she had on when posing for these shots was the radio. Both examples have their full calendar pages and present with other minor distresses such as staining, edge wear, tape stains and toning. Excellent condition overall.
