Offered is a Linder bass guitar owned by Cheap Trick bassist and founding member Tom Petersson that was used during recording sessions in the late 1990s. The bass was purchased during one of these sessions, most-likely in 1999, directly from Petersson, by a musician named Mark Muraski. A 2002 email from Muraski detailing the storyis inlcuded. It reads in part"

"My name is Mark Muraski. I am in a band with Robin's (Zander) daughter (The Snags). We opened for them at the Coronado in Rockford and at Navy Pier in Chicago. Anyway, a couple of years ago, I wias hanging out with the band while they were working on new songs in a local studio, and I loved thebass Tom was playing. He said he had another one so I I wnated I could buy the guitar when they were done trakcing. (He said he wanted som blackjack money while they were in Vegas (must be nice). So I bought the guitar."

Muraski was in the band The Snaggs with Holland Zander for several years in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Rockhurst Auctions was able to confirm this story during a phone call with Muraski in 2023. The bass guitar shows signs of moderate to heavy use, but is in working order. It comes with its original case, with a handwritten note taped to the side that reads "Linder + Bass". Excellent to Mint condition.
