Offered are is a very clean example of the famous Marilyn Monroe "Golden Dreams" nude calendar, with intact pages of its 1955 monthly calendar. The photograph of Marilyn is from her famous 1949 nude calendar session with photographer Tom Kelley, with "Posed by Marilyn Monroe" stamped beside her image on the calendar. The image caused a scandal in 1952 when it was featured on these calendars for the first time. Monroe captured the public's sympathy when she was honest about her reason for having to pose nude earlier in her career: she had to pay the rent. She later quipped that the only thing she had on when posing for these shots was the radio. This example has its full calendar pages and presents with only minor distresses such as staining, edge wear, and toning on the back. Excellent condition.
