WWII Doolittle's Raiders LE (9/42) R.E. Cole Signed Photo Print (PSA/DNA)

This large 18 x 11 1/2 inch photo montage is signed by Richard E. Cole and is inscribed 4-18-42, the date Doolittle's Raid occurred. Cole was a member of the bombing mission--co-pilot to Doolittle in the lead plane. The raid focused on the Japanese capital Tokyo and other places on Honshu during World War II--it was the first American air operation to strike the Japanese mainland after Pearl Harbor. Accompanied by LOA from PSA/DNA. Near Mint to Mint condition.
