The offered gold nugget style ring with diamonds and a large garnet stone was owned by Elvis Presley and later gifted to his girlfriend Sheila Ryan in 1975. Sheila, an October 1973 Playboy cover girl, met Elvis in Las Vegas in 1974, where she was introduced to him by Joe Esposito. After dating Elvis, Sheila later married actor James Caan, and sadly, Sheila passed in 2012. The size 8 1/2 ring weighs in at 11.95 grams. The larger garnet is 2.5ct, with two small diamonds mounted beside it on a raised gold setting. The two "14K" stampings are still clearly visible on the interior of the ring. Sheila later sold the ring the owner of the "Elvis Presley Museum" Jimmy Velvet, but asked him not to use her name. It was learned that the ring had belonged to Sheila by a later owner of the ring. Jimmy Velvet's Certificate of Authenticity reads:

14KT GOLD RING W/TWO DIAMONDS & ONE GARNET. Elvis gave this diamond ring to one of his girlfriends in 1975 during an engagement at the Las Vegas Hilton, she asked to not have her name disclosed at the time of acquisition. This ring is 14kt gold with two brilliant diamonds and a 2.5ct garnet.

Also included are two modern prints of photos of Elvis and Sheila Ryan together, and a letter signed by "EP Archives" owner Chris Davidson. The ring shows signs of moderate use but presents in Near Mint condition.
