Please Note: Though not stamped, the pendant is 14K gold.

Offered is an incredible large necklace owned and worn by Elvis Presley. The necklace was eventually gifted to his Aunt Delta Biggs, who lived with Elvis at Graceland. The large round pendant features a figural tree whose fruit is six different colored stones. The accompanying Elvis Presley Museum Certificate of Authenticity is signed by Jimmy Velvet AND Delta Mae Biggs, and it reads "This 'Tree of Life' pendant with 6 colored stones was worn by my nephew, Elvis Presley. He gave it to me at our Graceland home." Jimmy acquired a number of items from Delta during his active years as a collector, but rarely was able to get her to sign such letters. This is exceptional provenance on an Elvis jewelry artifact.

The moniker employed here by Jimmy and Delta should not be confused with another necklace Elvis owned known as the "Tree of Life" which remains in private hands. On the reverse of the pendant is stamped "DANKNER COPYRIGHT" and the company's maker's mark. Henry Dankner founded the family jewelry making company in Budapest, and after Nazi Germany seized everything of value, he moved his company to New York. The brand is known for manufacturing intricate mechanical gold charms with stones and moveable parts. Elite distributors included Cartier, Harry Winston, and Van Cleef & Arpels. The offered pendant is an excellent example of the Dankner style of intricate craftmenship. It measures 1 1/2 inches in diameter, and the chain measures 29 inches in length. Near Mint condition.
