The box was given to Elvis' longtime girlfriend Linda Thompson--it later became part of the world famous Jimmy Velvet collection and was displayed in his Elvis Presley Museum. The accompanying COA signed by Velvet reads "Pewter with Asian brass design cigar box owned & used by Elvis Presley in his Monovale Dr. home. Obtained directly from Linda Thompson, Elvis' longtime girlfriend." The heavy metal box has a lid design of inlaid brass in a shape reminiscent of a cherry blossom tree. On the bottom is a stamp that reads "Made in Hong Kong." The cigar box measures 6 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 1 inches and weighs nearly 2 pounds! Signed of moderate to heavy use, but no damage. Excellent condition.
